Santosh (Hindi: or Sanskrit : संतोष), also spelled as Santhosh, is a common Hindu male name which is derived from the Sanskrit word “Santōṣa” or Santosha. Santosh means contentment and also happiness. It is the second of the five yogic principles (Niyama) as listed by Patanjali and provides a foundation for selfless living, wisdom and peace of mind.

Santosh is a word of Sanskrit / Sanskrut OR Hindi which means “Satisfaction”.

In Oriya “Santosha” means gratification.

In Kannada “Santhosha” means Happiness.

In Tamil Santhosham is happiness.

It is derived from the Sanskrit Santosha, one of the niyamas of yoga.

In Hindu society, it is also used as a name of a male person.

It is a very popular name among Hindu.

Also written as Santhosh. Santoshi also means the same and used for female name.

Santoshi is also name of a Hindu Goddess.

Santosh also has other meaning which is “HAPPINESS”.

Since last Few Decades a group of self proclaimed scholars have declared war against Hinduism in INTERNET forum.

These group consists of communist writers and missionaries of Islam and Christianity.

Their goal is to make 1 billion Hindus to lose believe in their faith and convert to their believes which they believe is the final message.

The defense force of Sanatan Dharma in the INTERNET forum is very weak.

As Hindus are less versed in their scriptures they are easy prey to these predator faiths. As a Hindu it is my duty to defend my faith. Because I believe
