What is important. Projection of a doubtful need of some individual freedom for religious conversion or the preservation of the Nation itself its culture, heritage and mainly the CHARACTER.
If one delves deep into these so called conversions except a infinite simply small numbers everyone would have converted for selfish or pecuniary reasons.
Under such circumstances pleading for such freedom goes counter to the well being of the majority of the citizens of the country.
What Mr. Raj Nath Singh has said is absolutely right.
Individuals who wish to convert should be made to establish their real need for such conversions before being allowed to do so.
A lot of forces in India are operating against the interests of the country making bogus claims of such freedoms which are more abused than used for real needs.
