May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the U.S. because of two important events: the first Japanese immigrants arrived in the U.S. America on May 7, 1843 and the transcontinental railroad, built by many Chinese laborers, was completed on May 10, 1869.
At a celebration on May 8in Lake Forest, Grainger’s Asian Pacific Islander (API) BRG highlighted the API culture and heard from senior leaders, including Mike Pulick, SVP and President, Grainger International; Laura Brown, SVP, Communications and Investor Relations and Executive Sponsor of the API BRG; and Joseph High, SVP and Chief People Officer. Doe Kittay, Vice President, Customer Service and President, API BRG, hosted the event and highlighted the BRG’s mission and wins. The event was webcast to team members across the US and Acklands-Grainger (AGI).
“It was great to see the importance our leaders place on inclusion and what it means for us as a global company,” said Jigisha Bhatt, Program Manager, GIS Brand, Inventory Management.
“All the BRGs provide team members with leadership opportunities and help foster professional growth and multi-cultural understanding,” said Jaqui Robertson, Senior Director, Inclusion and Diversity. “While they were launched in the U.S., we are committed to understanding what makes sense for international teams as well.”
The BRG’s have certainly been active and many efforts are focused on team member development.
The Generational BRG (GBRG) recently hosted an Individual Development Planning (IDP) workshop. “The company is increasingly focused on Talent Excellence and having an IDP can help drive professional and personal growth,” says Al Johnson, Inventory Management Brand Strategy Manager and President, GBRG. “While IDP conversations are taking place between managers and their teams, the BRGs offer another venue for learning about them with peers.” The GBRG is targeting 500 participants this year.

Do you know that there is a country up for sale? Do you know that its finance, agriculture and retail sectors are being put ‘on the market’?

Perhaps you are already aware of this due to various media reports. But then again, maybe you are not because it’s all being carried out behind closed doors in Brussels.

The EU-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA), something that could fundamentally restructure Indian society and impact the lives of hundreds of millions, is being negotiated ‘on the behalf of the public’ by politicians on both sides who are champions of the type of economic liberalisation that has already been responsible for bankrupting many Western economies.

Negotiations began in 2007, covering a wide range of areas, including various goods, products and services, as well as investment rules, government procurement; and intellectual property rights. After 16 rounds of talks, the issues are still being fine tuned. ‘Developed’ countries are resorting more and more to these types of bilateral trade agreements with individual developing countries because they want to continue to push their free trade agenda that was rejected by developing countries at the World Trade Organisation.

The EU-India FTA essentially represents the demands of big business in the West and results from their strategic hegemony over government bureaucracies and politicians. With Western economies in crisis, India represents potential ripe pickings for transnational corporations’ never ending compulsion for profit.

Kavaljit Singh of the Madhyam research institute notes that the EU wants to export its heavily subsidised dairy products to India (1). The Indian government has encouraged the co-operative model in the dairy sector with active policy protection. It therefore makes little sense that dairy trade will be opened up to unfair competition from subsidised European exports under the FTA. According to RS Sodhi, managing director of the country’s largest milk cooperative, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, the FTA will rob the vibrant domestic dairy industry and the millions of farmers that are connected to it from their rightful access to a growing market within India.

The EU has an overproduction problem in the dairy sector and is looking to dump its surplus. By dumping products in other countries, producer prices and incomes there become depressed. India’s dairy sector is mostly self sufficient and employs about 90 million people, a majority of whom are 75 million women. The sector is a lifeline for small and marginal farmers, landless poor and a significant source of income for millions of families.

Although the Indian government is saying that the dairy sector will be protected, the EU is lobbying hard to open up the sector. S Kannaiyan of the South Indian Coordination Committee of Farmers movements wonders if the government can be trusted. It’s a fair point, given its obsession with foreign investment and neo-liberalism.

In general, profits for EU companies could be huge if they can dump their products in India and permanently displace local farmers and producers. In the name of ‘free trade’, the EU wants India to cut import duties, but will not alter its own massive subsidies to its agribusiness and farm sector, which means that Indian farmers will not be able to compete with EU agribusiness. Yudhvir Singh of the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) says that free trade is supposed to be trade between equals, but such free trade pacts are on a completely unequal footing.

The FTA also seeks better protection for European biotechnology companies in the form of stronger intellectual property rights. On its blog, the BKU notes that this will allow European biotech firms to sell their seeds in India at any price they wish, get royalties from Indian farmers and deprive Indian farmers from saving or exchanging seeds. Indian farmers are already in debt, committing suicide en masse and suffering from the failure of expensive GMOs and unaffordable private seeds.

The EU is also demanding the liberalisation of the retail sector and is attempting to facilitate the entry of European agro-processing and retail gaints like Carrefour and Tesco, which could threaten the livelihoods of small retailers and street vendors. Nandini Jairam of the Karnataka farmers’ movement argues that the entry of such retail giants will be terrible for farmers because they will monopolise the whole food chain from procurement to distribution. In effect, farmers will be at the mercy of such large companies as they will have the power to set prices and also will not be interested to buy small quantities from small producers.

Under the FTA there are also plans to liberalise investment provisions, financial services and banking, whereby European banks and finance companies can enter the Indian market. According to the BKU, investors from the EU will get preference over resources like land, coastal areas and water rather than local people. Such provisions could serve to facilitate takeovers of farm land and conversion from food crops to export oriented cash crops.

At a time when countries across the world are reeling under a financial crisis caused by private banks, regulation and not liberalisation is needed. The proposal to liberalise the banking and insurance sectors is taking place in a world already ravaged by the criminality of the finance sector and which, according to Kavaljit Singh, by providing greater market access to crisis-ridden European banks, could potentially weaken an otherwise stable banking system in India.

Moreover, according to Singh, measures on investment could see the Indian government sued by multinational companies for billions of dollars in private arbitration panels outside of Indian courts if national laws, policies, court decisions or other actions are perceived to interfere with their investments.

Conclusion

At the heart of this whole debate is the issue of national sovereignty – or, to put it another way, self determination, self sufficiency and the nurturing of local democracy and economies in order that local people have control over their own lives and futures. The EU-India FTA appears to sound the death knell for such notions.

Since the passing of Margaret Thatcher, much has been written about the impact of the types of neo-liberal policies that she championed, not least in terms of them leading to the current crisis being experienced by Western economies. The pro-globalisation corporate interests that backed Thatcher helped destroy the post-1945 Keynesian consensus and tip the balance in favour of elite interests. This subsequently led to the depression or stagnation of wages and thus demand. The profits accrued from the subsequent debt-bubble Western economies of the 1990s and onwards could not be sustained, and now, facing crisis at home, places like India represent rich pickings for Western capitalism.

Call it ‘globalisation’ if you must, but let’s call it for what it is: imperialism. In an effort to maintain profit margins, elite concerns are going abroad to plunder public assets, exploit human labour and trample over local economies and communities. The worst thing is that it doesn’t have to be this way. Once India’s political leaders began to place emphasis on ‘deregulation’ and cede power to ‘the market’, the green light was given for transnationals to hollow out Indian society.

Farmers and trade unions in India, via the alliance called the Anti FTA front, have written 872 letters to important officials, organisations and political parties about the FTA. Rakesh Tikait of the BKU argues that, although there are serious impacts on food security and the livelihood security of millions of farmers and small retailers, farmers haven’t even been informed nor consulted about the FTA.

Praveen Khandelwal, Secretary General of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) states that India should not legally commit to policies under this FTA. He believes that the government cannot seal this issue at the behest of EU while a national debate is still ongoing on the subject. It begs the question: are we to witness democracy being sidelined in the blind pursuit of a corporate driven agenda? It seems so (2).

It begs another question too: where is the logic in handing the thieves the key to your home?

Poor and Rich Nation A Difference

This can be demonstrated by countries like India and Egypt, which are more than
2000 years old and are still poor countries.

Japan has limited territory, 80% mountainous, unsuitable for agriculture or farming, but is the second in worlds economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw material from the whole world and exporting manufactured products.

Second example is Switzerland, it does not grow cocoa but produces the best chocolates in the world. In her small territory she rears animals and cultivates the land only for four month in a year, nevertheless manufactures the best milk products. A small country which is an image of security which has made it the strongest world bank.

Executives from rich countries who interact with their counterparts from poor countries show no significant intellectual differences.

The racial or colour factors also do not evince importance: migrants heavy in laziness in their country of origin are forcefully productive in rich European countries.

What then is the difference?

The difference is the attitude of the people, moulded for many years by education and culture.

When we analyse the conduct of the people from the rich and developed countries, it is observed that a majority abide by the following principles of life:

1. Ethics, as basic principles.
2. Integrity.
3. Responsibility.
4. The respect for Laws and Regulations.
5. The respect from majority of citizens by right.
6. The love for work.
7. The effort to save and invest.
8. The will to be productive.
9. Punctuality.

In the poor countries a small minority follow these basic principles in their daily life.

We are not poor because we lack natural resources or because nature was cruel towards us.

We are poor because we lack attitude. We lack the will to follow and teach these principles of working of rich and developed societies.

WE ARE IN THIS STATE BECAUSE

EVRYTHING AND EVERYONE.

Gujarat is a state in the west of India, home to the Gujarati people, some 60 million of them, who speak their own language and have their own history.

Mahatma Gandhi was born there.
And so was the guy who runs the motel in your town. Odds are, at any rate.
In the United States, some 40 percent of all the hotels and motels are owned by Indians – almost all of them from Gujarat. Among American economy motels, specifically, more than half the owners are Gujarati.
There is something called the Asian-American Hotel Owners Association. It is a powerful professional group with more than 10,000 members. Some 90 percent of those members have the same last name – Patel – a name dominant in Gujarat.
Which raises the question: How did Indians, particularly from one relatively small region of India, come to dominate the American lodging industry?
The answer, in short: Hard work.
About 30 years ago, Gujarati began immigrating to the United States. They typically brought with them the clothes on their back and an ancestral work ethic.
They also carried the desire to be the boss, to be business owners, to not be another man’s employee. Like generations of previous immigrants, they carried an American dream of their own creation and distinctive bent.
Coincidentally, about 30 years ago, there was a downturn in the American motel industry. Low-end motels were hard work and offered limited return, and owners were eager to get out of them.
A handful of Gujarati stumbled across this opportunity. The motels could be had for almost nothing up front, and they came with housing for the immigrant family. And that immigrant family provided a round- the-clock workforce. It was incredibly hard and endless work, but the

And they told their friends.
And they expanded, by buying more motels, and by moving up the economic ladder to larger and nicer motels and hotels.
Back home, as others sought to emigrate to the United States, word of success in the lodging industry spread, and newcomers replicated that success, finding for themselves motel opportunities.
Interestingly, these people came with almost no money. And they came with no background whatsoever in the lodging or hospitality industries. All they brought was a willingness to embrace any opportunity and to work hard to make it a success.
And they have done that.
In something between 20 and 30 years, Indians – who are about 1 percent of the American population – have come to dominate this industry. They have built solid lives for themselves and their employees, and their children have gone on to be educated and move into the professions.
It is a stunning success story.
It is a reminder of the potential prosperity of immigrants who go to work instead of to the welfare office.
It is proof of the continued vigor and opportunity of the American economy and the free-enterprise system.
It is the American way proven again by newcomers’ hands. But it is more than that.
It is also something of an indictment of native-born Americans who have lingered in poverty and government dependence.
Part of the horrific welfare plague is the curse of idleness it imposes on recipients. The slavery of dependence takes initiative from people, and strips them of the instinct of self-reliance. They become good at nothing, and particularly good at doing nothing.
And with the cloak of entitlement drawn over their eyes, they fail to see liberating opportunity, they become unwilling to do the backbreaking work necessary to lift themselves out of their circumstances.

 I admire Dr Subramanian Swamy immensely.

 He is among a handful of people who have the guts, the intelligence, the commitment, the dedication and the stamina to fix what’s broken in India. I agree with him on all the substantive issues and where I do disagree, I am sure that there’s room for reasonable people to disagree on.

 I came across an interview of his on Hans India. Below some excerpts from it, for the record. (Image stolen from Hans India.)

The interviewer is K Ramachandra Murthy. (Please note that I have concatenated the excerpts from the original text. I have highlighted a few bits to indicate my notes. The last note is worth reading very carefully.)

What according to you will happen in UP?

If there are no Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), the Congress will stand in the fourth position. It will not get more than 25 seats. Probably Mulayam Singh’s party will be number one. Mulayam may also be close to the majority, he may not need any other party.

 But the consequence is that in the Presidential elections opposition President will be elected. Then I think mid-term poll will be held very soon for the Lok Sabha.

If there must be mid-term poll who do you think will gain – NDA or UPA?

NDA has to enthuse its party workers, particularly the BJP, their party workers are disheartened. In fact some people suggested that I should align with NDA and I have said I am ready. But I wonder what we shall say to people.

 Congress says development and secularism. Are we going to say the same thing? Then people may not give us much chance. I think we have a better chance if we say we will unite the country on the basis of Hindutva. Because today there is a feeling in Hindus that nobody is talking about them. So that sentiment needs to be captured. If there is an honest projection with a new set of faces, there may be a chance.

It means no Advani?

It means none of them. All those who were there in NDA government. People will not believe them.

It also means no Jaitley, Sushma and all the second rung leaders?

They can be the ministers. But to be the Prime Minister, it has to be a new face. It could be Modi. The problem with him is that, he will not get the majority and other allies will not come with him.

The killings of Muslims in Gujarat will also go against him. Do you think people in South India would vote for Modi?

(laughs) That’s what I mean. He can deliver Gujarat but whether he can deliver in other places, we don’t know. That’s why even BJP also is hesitating to project him as prime ministerial candidate May be. But they don’t have anyone else.

There are predictions that if the Congress gets about 100 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Rahul will take over from Manmohan Singh and if the Congress gets around 50 seats, Rahul will remain as an MP, Manmohan will continue. What do you have to say?

(Laughs) They say a lot of new changes are going to take place in the Congress. Sonia Gandhi has terminal cancer. Rahul is not a very intelligent person, neither is Sonia Gandhi. But Sonia has the backing of Vatican.

That’s what Morarji said of Rajiv Gandhi, that he is not burdened by brains.

Yes, that’s true. But he (Rajiv) was a nationalist.

From the day you appeared in the Rajya Sabha during Emergency and created a sensation and then disappeared, till now, you have fought many a battle. What do you think of yourself and your position in Indian history when you look back?

When I came into politics, I said India needs three or four things to be done. Number one – It must give up socialism. When I said this, everyone was shocked. Ultimately, as a Minister, I got it done. Then, I said that we must have good and strong relations with Israel, which I ensured and it has since happened.

The third thing was that we must improve relations with China, and we should not be so dependent on the Soviet Union. When Morarji Desai became Prime Minister I had got Kailash Manasa sarovar opened. The fourth thing is that India can become a united country if you have a renaissance in Hinduism.

 I would like people to think of themselves more as Hindus than as Brahmins, Kshatriyas, North Indians or South Indians. I think that in contemporary history maybe things will not be so kind to me, because journalists get influenced by business houses.

But when history gets recorded, it will be something like the improvement of the image of Sardar Patel – when he was alive nobody gave him much credit.

But Sardar Patel was considered the modern Bismark of India?

Yes, but those are after words. During his time nobody said so, as people were afraid that it might displease Jawaharlal Nehru.

Nehru-Gandhi dynasty minus Rajiv?

(Laughs) That’s a big minus. I did not know Jawaharlal Nehru. But as a historian, I think he was a bad Prime Minister. But to Indira Gandhi I was opposed because she was a socialist, pro-Soviet Union and then the Emergency. So, I had every reason to oppose her, and Sonia Gandhi naturally you know she had done a lot of harm to our country.

Now, can I say that your target is Sonia Gandhi?

She is the root cause of all problems. People blame Manmohan Singh, but it is Sonia Gandhi who prevented him from stopping Raja. And she got the biggest share of the bribe amount – of about Rs 36,000 crore.

What do you think about Anna Hazare’s movement or his fight against corruption?

Anna Hazare said corruption will be eliminated only if Jan Lokpal Bill is passed. I did not agree with that.

Do you think Jan Lok pal will come?

No, How can congress commit suicide?

You were close to PV Narasimha Rao. Do you think that he was treated properly by the Congress? Actually PV once told me that he had asked the ministers to do whatever Sonia’s secretary (George) asks them to… But what went wrong? Why had they become enemies?

He should have got Bharatratna for what he did. The economic reforms blue print was prepared by me and he gave political support. Manmohan Singh only implemented it.[1] But everybody gives Manmohan Singh the credit.

I think Sonia Gandhi was unhappy with PV because he wouldn’t give up party presidentship for her. She wanted him to remain as Prime Minister and give her the party presidentship. He told her that it has been the Congress tradition to have the Party President as the Prime Minister.

But journalists also say that the Father of Indian economic reforms is Manmohan Singh.[2]

That’s wrong. If he could do all those big economic reforms then as a Finance Minister, what stops him now? So obviously it means that they have been Narasimha Rao’s reforms.

What do you expect the people of India to do now?

We are a very young population with over 70 percent below the age of 35. People have to take more risks. I want the people not to think of money as the final goal. You can’t sacrifice your whole life for making money. The desire for more money is the reason for increased corruption.

[3] I will say don’t imitate the West. Learn from our tradition and have the correct view of the history. Don’t learn the British version of our history. I want people to take interest in politics…clean it up…don’t complain!

Where will India be 20 years from now?

India will overtake China in ten years of time.

[4] China is going to have very big financial crisis. We will have a budgetary crisis but we are a democratic country so we can improve ourselves. When there is food crisis we had Green Revolution and when there was foreign exchange crisis we had economic reforms and so when we have a budgetary crisis we will have a more efficient government.

[1] Dr Manmohan Singh takes credit for reforms. That is one blatant example of how despicably dishonest Dr Singh is.

[2] Actually Indian journalists do get a lot of things wrong. They are trapped in an echo chamber and they just repeat what they have heard. Critical evaluation of evidence and investigative journalism is not very common among them.

[3] I disagree with Dr Swamy. It is not the desire for money that is the root of corruption. Desire for money (which is a proxy for desire for material goods and for power) is not unnatural or necessarily bad. It’s a mistake to confuse the desire for material gain with unethical and immoral behavior. Corruption is unethical and immoral, and in many cases it is also illegal. The root cause of public corruption is economic control without accountability and transparency.

[4] Actually India overtaking China in 10 years is plainly impossible. So what Dr Swamy says is nonsense. As I always say, a lot of nonsense can be avoided if you just do the arithmetic. Here’s a bit of arithmetic.

Today China’s economy is four times India’s economy. If China continues to grow at 10 percent per year (which it has been doing for the last few decades), in 7 years its economy will be double its current size — or eight times the size of India today. In 10 years, China’s economy will be 10.4 times India’s current economy.

Therefore to overtake China in 10 year’s time, India’s economy will have to expand to say 10.5 times it current size. What’s that rate of growth? That’s a growth rate of over 25 percent per year for 10 years!

The word impossible does not even come close to describing that growth rate. India at the best of times does around 10 percent per year growth rate. The Nehru rate of growth was around 3 percent — and the UPA is doing its best to drag India back to the Nehru rate of growth with its socialist policies.

At 7 percent growth rate, in 10 years India’s economy will be double its current size. China would have increased the lead it has over India. In 10 years, India will continue to be a Third world impoverished nation, and China will be in a different league entirely. You have a fairly large number of Indian voter to thank for that — they vote the Congress & the UPA & and the Nehru-Gandhi-Maino family to bring the country to ruin.

Gujarat riots which took place in 2002 where Hindus were burnt alive, Rajdeep Sirdesai and Bharkha Dutt working for NDTV at that time got around 5 Million Dollars from Saudi Arabia to cover only Muslim victims, which they did very faithfully…Not a single Hindu family was interviewed or shown on TV whose near and dear ones had been burnt alive, it is reported.

Tehelka.com’s Tarun Tejpal regularly gets blank cheques from Arab countries to target BJP and Hindus only, it is said.

The ownership explains the control of media in India by foreigners. The result is obvious.

When continuously print media and TV will air systematic venom towards the same culture and country and dumb politicians and common man are so blind to see the long-term effects of act are no friend of country.

નેચરોપથી એ ગાંધીજી દ્વારા વિશ્વસ્ત અને સરકાર માન્ય ઉપચાર પ્રણાલી છે. અને નેચરોપથી દ્વારા થતા ઉપચારો વડે એચ આઈ વી પોઝીટીવ નો પણ ઉપચાર કરી શકાય છે. આ વાત સરાકારી દસ્તાવેજોમાં ઉપલબ્ધ છે.

જે કોઇ બાળક એચ આઈ વી પોઝીટીવ સાથે જન્મે તેને માટે જરુરી નથી કે તેને એઈડ થશે. સામાન્યરીતે જે બાળક એચ આઈ વી પોઝીટીવ સાથે જન્મ્યું હોય તે અઢાર માસમાં એચ આઈ વી નેગેટીવ થઈ જાય છે. છતાં પણ તેને એઈડની સારવાર ચાલુ કરી દેવાય છે.

ARV એન્ટી-રિટ્રો-વાઈરલ નામની દવા બધા જ એચ આઈ વી પોઝીટીવ દર્દીઓને અપાય છે. અને સરકારના નેશનલ એઈડ કન્ટ્રોલ ઓર્ગેનાઈઝેશન દ્વારા આ ARV અપાય છે.
હવે આ ARV એ કોઈ અધિકૃત દવા છે જ નહીં. અને તેનાથી દર્દીઓ બચે છે તે પણ સાબિત થયું નથી તો પણ સરકાર કે જેણે નેચરોપથીની સારવારને માન્યતા આપી છે તો પણ તેને અવગણીને જે દવાને (ARV) ને વિશ્વમાં ક્યાંય પણ માન્યતા મળી નથી તેમજ વિશ્વ આરોગ્ય સંસ્થા એ જે દવાને નકારી છે તે દવાનો કેન્દ્ર સરકાર અને નેશનલ એઈડ કન્ટ્રોલ ઓર્ગેનીઝેશન ARV બનાવતી કંપનીની મીલીભગત થી ARVનો ઉપચારમાં વપરાશ કરી મોટું સડયંત્ર ચલાવી રહી છે. ARV દવા સપ્લાય કરતી કંપનીનું ત્રણ થી પાંચ અબજ રુપીયા વડે ગજવું ભરાય છે અને લગભગ ૨૦૦૦ વયસ્ક લોકો અને ૨૦૦ જેટલા બાળકો રોજ મરે છે. એટલે આ કામ તો કાયદાની દૃષ્ટિએ ગુનાઈત જ થયું કહેવાય.

વળી આ અધુરું હોય તેમ જે ચિકિત્સકો યોગ જેવી નેચરોપથીની ચિકિત્સા દ્વાર ઉપચાર કરે છે તેમને આ કેન્દ્ર સરકાર કોર્ટ કચેરીમાં ખડા કરે છે અને સજા કરી દંડાવે છે.”

   TO THE PRIME MINISTER                                 OF INDIA

I am born and brought  up in Mumbai for last fifty eight years.  Believe  me, corruption in Maharashtra is worse than that  in Bihar .  Look at all the  politicians, Sharad Pawar, Chagan Bhujbal, Narayan Rane, Bal Thackray , Gopinath Munde, Raj         Thackray, Vilasrao Deshmukh all are rolling in  money. Vilasrao Deshmukh is one of the worst    Chief ministers I have seen.

His only business  is to increase the FSI every other day, make   money and send it to Delhi , So  Congress can fight next election.

 Now the clown  has found new way and will increase FSI for  fishermen, so they can build concrete

houses  right on sea shore. Next time terrorists can   comfortably live in those houses, enjoy the  beauty of the sea and then attack our Mumbai at  their will.

Recently, I had to purchase a  house in Mumbai. I met about two dozen builders.    

Everybody wanted about 30% in black. A common   person like me knows this and with all your intelligence agency & CBI, you and your   finance ministers are not aware of it.

 Where all  the black money goes? To the underworld, isn’t  it? Our politicians take help of these goondas  to vacate people by force.

I myself was victim  of it.  If you have time please come to me, I  will tell you everything.

If this has   been a land of fools, idiots, then I would not   have ever cared to write to you this letter.

Just see the tragedy. On one side we are   reaching moon, people are so intelligent; and on  the other side,

 you politicians have converted   nectar into deadly poison.

I am everything  – Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Scheduled   Caste, OBC, Muslim OBC, Christian SCHEDULE   Caste, and Creamy Scheduled Caste; only what I   am not is INDIAN. 

You politicians have raped  every part of Mother India by your policy of  divide and rule.

Take example of our  Former President Abdul Kalam. Such an   intelligent person; such a fine human being. But  you politician didn’t even spare him and instead   choose a worthless lady who had  Corruption  charges and insignificant local politician  of Jalgaon WHO’S NAME ENTIRE COUNTRY HAD NOT HEARD BEFORE. Its simple logic your party just  wanted a rubber stamp in the name of president.   

Imagine SHE IS SUPREME COMMANDER  OF INDIA ‘S THREE DEFENCE FORCES.

 What  morale you will expect from our defense  forces? 

Your party along with opposition joined hands,   because politicians feel they are supreme and  there is no place for a good person.

Dear  Mr Prime minister, you are one of the most   intelligent person, a most learned person. Just  wake up, be a real SARDAR. First and foremost,   expose all selfish politicians. Ask Swiss banks  to give names of all Indian account holders.  Give reins of CBI to independent agency. 

Let   them find wolves among us. There will be  political upheaval, but that will be better   than dance of death which we are witnessing  every day. Just give us ambiance where we can  work honestly and without fear. Let there be rule of law. Everything else will be taken care  of.

Choice is yours Mr. Prime Minister.  Do you want to be lead by one person, or you   want to lead the nation of 100 Crore  people?

Exposes of Swedish newspaper, Dagens Nhyeter further confirmed it, though Ajitabh went to court against them. There is no doubt, further says my Swiss friend, that part of the Bofors money is still in Switzerland.

Indeed, we are all waiting for the Swiss banks to reveal (under US pressure) the names of all the dictators, thieves, dishonest rulers of so many countries in the world, who have stashed their ill-gotten money in UBS bank or Credit Suisse.

Meanwhile, all roads seem to lead to Sonia Gandhi: she is the first Lady of India, although she is a simple MP like hundreds of others, the ultimate arbiter, and nothing of importance is decided without her caveat.

The immense power she wields within the Congress cannot be only due to her charisma, of her having the Gandhi name or having brought cohesion in the Congress.

It is also, and perhaps mainly, because she holds the purse strings of tremendous amounts of money. These party funds are overt: all the foundations, Rajiv, Indira, Nehru, etc, which store thousands of crores; and covert, starting with the Bofors scam.

Where are the secret bank accounts where the scam money is stored?

Under whose names are they operated?

How is the money brought back to India?

Who will answer all these questions?

We know that Quattrochi, the man who could have spilt the beans, was shamelessly let off the hook, not only by the CBI which today is conducting — two years late — the investigation on the 2G scam, but also by the then law minister who is today the governor who pretends to be after corruption in Karnataka!

Not only was Quattrochi spared, but was allowed to take the money he had looted from India and which was frozen in British banks, so that he would not talk.

Will Raja talk, if he is arrested, as it is rumoured? Surely he knows a lot of secrets, as some of the 2G, Adarsh CWG money, and other unknown scams, must also have gone into the Congress coffers.

That is the question that the Congress leadership should debate instead of going after ‘Hindu terror’, a misnomer if there is one. If you look at statistics for the last 1,000 years, it is Hindus who have been at the receiving end of terror —

millions of them have died, including in Kashmir in the late ’Eighties, when Benazir Bhutto launched her ‘Azad Kashmir’ movement (I was there). Yet Sonia Gandhi remains a mystery for many of us, even for me who has known her for a long time.  I found her quite likable when she was just Rajiv Gandhi’s (the Fake pilot) spouse,

a loving wife, who had adopted the Indian way of life; a good daughter -in-law: Indira Gandhi died on her lap on the way to the hospital, after being shot by her Sikh bodyguards; and more than everything, a good mother, who doted on her children and tried all her life to protect them.

I then knew that she had kept her Italian passport, even after taking the Indian nationality (India does not allow you to hold two passports), but I have met quite a few foreigners in Delhi who also retained their origin passports after having obtained the Indian one.

I myself toyed for some time with the idea of taking the Indian nationality, as I speak Hindi quite fluently, but it is too difficult to travel with an Indian passport.

I do not mind also her remaining a Christian: after all,  Indeed, one of my Italian journalist friends told me that he prayed with her, along with Rajiv Gandhi, at a mass in Calicut with the bishop officiating —

that is her private business. But after her husband was blown to pieces by the LTTE, I observed a drastic change in her: she did not seem to trust anybody anymore, became aloof and suspicious.

I also watched with dismay how the Congress leaders, some of them men and women of substance, whom I knew personally, applied pressure on her to enter politics for years.

Furthermore, I thought that in her fortress of Janpath, surrounded twenty-four hours by security, she gradually lost touch with the reality of India.

Despite the fact that I met her a few times after Rajiv’s death, I thus took discreetly my distances with her. It is then that I came up with my famous phrase on Sonia, for which she never forgave me:

“the moribund and leaderless Congress party has latched on to Sonia Gandhi who is Italian by birth and Roman Catholic by baptism”.

Like Sonia Gandhi, I have lived in India many years and I have adopted this country as my own.

But the comparison ends there. I did land in India with a certain amount of prejudices, clichés and false ideas, and I did think in the enthusiasm of my youth to become a missionary to bring back Indian ‘pagans’ to the ‘true god’.

But the moment I stepped in India I felt that there was nothing much that I could give to India, rather it was India which was bestowing me.

In fact in all my years here India has given me so much — professionally, spiritually, sentimentally. Most Westerners, who come here, still think they are here to ‘give’ something to a country, which, unconsciously of course, they think is lesser than theirs. It was true of the British, it was true of Mother Teresa, it is true of Sonia Gandhi. It is a fact that Sonia brought discipline, order and cohesion into the Indian National Congress.

But the amount of power that she, a person of foreign origin, an elected MP like hundreds of others, possesses should frighten her. All the television channels report without a blink that Maharashtra CM rushes to Delhi to meet Sonia Gandhi to plead for his life.

But should not Chavan have gone to the prime minister first? The CBI blatantly and shamelessly quashed all injunctions against Ottavio Quattrocchi and even allowed him to get away with billions of rupees which he had stolen from India.

Yet, without batting an eyelid, and with the Indian media turning a blind eye, it goes ruthlessly after the chief minister of the most efficiently run state, the most corruption free.

Today the Congress, with Sonia’s overt or silent consent, pays crores of rupees to buy MPs to topple non-Congress governments.

Her governors shamelessly hijack democracy by twisting the law. Are Indians aware that their country has entered a state of semi-autocracy where every important decision comes from a single individual residing in her fortress of 10 Janpath surrounded by dozens of security men, an empress of India?

Do they know that the huge amounts of the scams, whether the 2G, the CWG, or the Adarsh housing society scam, do not go into politicians’ pockets (only a fraction), but to the coffers of the Congress for the next general elections, and more than anything to please Sonia Gandhi?

Nobody seems to notice what is happening under the reign of Sonia Gandhi.

That an Arundhati Roy is allowed to preach secession in India, whereas on the other hand the Congress government has been going after the army, the last body in India to uphold the time-honoured values of the Kshatriyas — courage, honour, devotion to the Motherland.

They alone today practise true secularism, never differentiating between a Muslim or Hindu soldier and who for a pittance daily give their lives to their country.

First it was the attempt of a caste census, a divide-and-rule ploy if there is one; then there are the first signs that the government is thinking about thinning down the presence of the Indian army in the Kashmir valley, which will suit Pakistan perfectly.

And now there is the Adarsh housing society scam in which the army officers, at the worst, were innocently dragged into it. We know now that it was the politicians of the Congress who benefited the most out of it.

It would be impossible in France, for example, to have a non-Christian tell a Hindu (who is a non-elected president or PM) to be the absolute ruler of the country behind the scenes, superseding even the PM.

There are many capable people in the Congress. Why can’t a billion Indians find one of their own, who will understand the complexity and subtlety of India, to govern themselves? Not only that, but her very presence at the top has unleashed forces, visible and invisible that are detrimental to the country.

There is nothing wrong in espousing the best of the values of the West — democracy, technological perfection, higher standards of living — but many of the institutions are crumbling in the West: two out of three marriages end in divorce, kids shoot each other, parents are not cared for in their old age, depression is rampant and Westerners are actually looking for answers elsewhere, in India notably.

One does not understand this craze to Westernise India at all costs, while discarding its ancient values.

Sonia Gandhi should do well to remember that there still are 850 million Hindus in India, a billion worldwide and that whatever good inputs were brought by different invasions, it is the ancient values of spirituality behind Hinduism which have made India so special and which gives it today unique qualities making an Indian Christian different from an American Christian, or an Indian Muslim different from a Saudi Muslim.

It is an insult to these tolerant Hindus to show United States President Barack Husain Obama as his first input of the Indian capital the tomb of Humayun, a man who slaughtered Hindus in thousands, taking Hindu women and children as captives.

He even subjected his elder brother Kamran to brutal torture, gauging his eyes out and pouring lemon into them. The tragedy of India is that it was colonised for too long.

And unlike China, it always looks to the West for a solution to its problems. Sonia Gandhi, whatever her qualities, is just an incarnation of that hangover, an empress of India in new clothes.

When Swiss Bank opened its vault of loot money for return, Congress party in India lost all hopes of coming back to power by democratic means in 2014 and tactically decided to delay it as much as possible to enable all its corrupt friends to choose escape roots before it is forced to declare the loot money as national asset.

Parellelly, US 1980 plan of breaking India into 20 countries by 2020 was differed on 9/11 of 2001 and is now revived after Osama’s Arabian-sea funeral.

US knows it cannot win China. Knowing Hindus are weak, cannot speak in one voice, and can be easily ensalved, for the last few years, US on one hand penetrated Pakistan and on the other hand strenghtened hands of LeT to enable it break India to 20 countries by 2020.

26/11 is a ISI/CIA wish list item. Politically, US promoted Sonia and Obama Administration still does not have confidence in Democracy as evident from Denial of Visa to India’s future PM Narendrabhai. So, it silently started purchasing Indian media editors and prostitutionalist journalists of Indian Goebelesian media and are acting against all those that raise voices against corruption, especially any that are linked to Hindu organization.

As a pre-cursor to promoting corruption in india, Quatrochi and his assets were freed and mentally sick politicians like Sibals, Diggys, Chidambus and Manamohans enslaved by US. US and its Pharma somehow wants Yoga restricted and Gurus like Baba eliminated.

What we see today is the continuation of this US-Sonia nexus that trusts none except foreign white skin to rule in India and make that all 1.2Cr Indians dance to their tunes and hasten 2020 plan by 5 years to spurt economic growth in US. US sees Gorbachev in Sonia.

Baba Ramdev’s movement is symptom of India revolting against Congress party’s shameless loot of India and award of Father of Corruption title to Manmohan and Mother of Corruption of award to Sonia.

Conception signs were visible in India for the last decade in the form of Maoist movement. These corrupt couple – Manamohan- Sonia will never be pardoned by downtrodden for letting India down.

Coming days will be challenging and we are in same situation now as we were in 1975/76 with noose tightening on corrupt Congress.

HinduBandhu: Namaskar. You have no choice but to open your eyes and ears, wake up, stop pretending, unite and make someone like Narendrabhai as PM or get ready to perish. All others that come on the way must either go sidelines or forced to.

U.S. Fails To Secure Flight Schools

Nearly a decade after terrorists crashed planes into the World Trade Center and Pentagon how could the U.S. government permit an illegal immigrant to obtain a pilot’s license and run a school that trains dozens of foreigners to fly small aircraft?

 

The question is directed at the Homeland Security agency responsible for scrutinizing all foreign flight students before they can take lessons or get a pilot’s license in the U.S. Here’s a hint; the agency was created after 9/11 specifically to prevent another terrorist attack by protecting the nation’s transportation system, especially aviation. It’s the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

 

A few months ago a news report alerted TSA officials that a flight school in Stow Massachusetts, a rural community about 25 miles west of Boston, was operated by an illegal immigrant who somehow got a U.S. pilot’s license. Enrolled in the school (TJ Aviation Flight Academy) were more than 30 illegal aliens who were actually cleared by the TSA to train as pilots. Several of them had entered the U.S. legally but their visas expired, just like several of the 9/11 hijackers.

Many have been deported but the TSA has failed to implement any security controls to prevent a similar atrocity, though the agency is working “to refine the process for checking the immigration status of alien flight school students,” according to a spokesman quoted in a Boston newspaper this week. The story reveals that Homeland Security officials have not instituted new safeguards to stop other flight schools from enrolling illegal immigrants who could present national security threats.

Pilots are actually licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), but the agency relies on the TSA for criminal and immigration background checks. FAA officials claim that they don’t have the legal authority to revoke a pilot’s license for being in the country illegally, indicating that government bureaucracy is playing a role in the inexcusable security lapses.

 

The TSA, which has 55,000 employees, has compromised the nation’s security on many occasions and its lapses have been well documented over the years. The agency approved background checks for illegal immigrants to work in sensitive areas of busy airports, violated federal standards by not screening cargo and passengers on hundreds of thousands of planes that fly over the U.S. annually and allowed guns and bombs to slip by at major U.S. airports during random tests.

 

A few months ago inept screeners missed a suitcase filled with explosives that blasted after a three-hour domestic flight. Checked on a flight from Boston to Miami, the bag contained hundreds of bullet primers that exploded on the tarmac after the plane arrived in south Florida. Primers provide the spark that detonates the gunpowder in bullets.

 

In the meantime tax dollars keep pouring into TSA coffers. President Obama has given the agency more than $3 billion in recovery funds—including $98 million for “advanced technology X-ray units” that screen baggage—and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano wants Congress to increase its 2012 budget by $459 million to a whopping $8.1 billion.

The islands, off the coast of Dubai, were intended to be developed with tailor-made hotel complexes and luxury villas, and sold to millionaires. But the World, the ambitiously-constructed archipelago of islands shaped like the countries of the globe, is sinking back into the sea.

UK TELEGRAPH –(H/T Rod) -Â “The islands are gradually falling back into the sea,” Richard Wilmot-Smith QC, for Penguin Marine, said. The evidence showed “erosion and deterioration of The World islands”, he added.

With all but one of the islands still uninhabited – Greenland – and that one a showpiece owned by the ruler of Dubai, most of the development plans have been brought to a crashing halt by the financial crisis.

Nakheel, the developer, was part of Dubai World, the state-owned conglomerate that had to be bailed out of debts put at around $25 billion at the end of 2009. The Dubai World Tribunal was set up to hear cases arising out of the restructuring and separation of the companies involved.

The low-lying islands represent a vague shape out to sea when viewed from Dubai’s beaches, but are visible by satellite or from the top of the city’s Burg Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, which opened to the public last year.

According to the company, 70 per cent of the World’s 300 islands have been sold. Nakheel is also behind Dubai’s famous Palm-shaped offshore developments. Villas in the only one near completion, Palm Jumeirah, were given to or bought by footballers including David Beckham and Michael Owen.

Many investors who did buy the islands proved unwilling or unable to finance further work when Dubai’s property prices halved in the space of a year.

Penguin claim that work on the islands has “effectively stopped”. Mr Wilmot-Smith described the project as “dead”. Graham Lovett, for Nakheel, said the project was not dead but admitted it was “in a coma”.

“This is a ten-year project which has slowed down,” he said. “This is a project which will be completed.” He said Penguin would make money eventually. “That’s the price Penguin makes to stay in the game,” he said. “They have the potential to earn millions.”
Perhaps God is punishing the Dubai Muslim ‘royalty’ for using slaves, Muslim and otherwise, to build these monuments to decadence and opulent self-indulgence?

Everything that’s been built in Dubai in its massive construction boom was created on the backs of slaves…men mostly, but including female sex workers as well, who were duped into coming to Dubai from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Asian countries with promises of jobs and large financial incentives to leave their homes and lives behind and work in the Dubai construction industry.

When these people arrived in Dubai, their passports were taken from them, they were stuffed into metal cargo crates that sleep 20 men to a container, rationed just enough food and water to keep them alive, and then enslaved as the brute muscle behind the fanciful Muslim building projects.

Everything in Dubai was built with slaves, and everything in Dubai is now falling apart because more likely than not the slaves sabotaged these building projects as they were going up.

Wouldn’t you have done that? Just think about it.

You are forced to sleep in metal shipping crates with dozens of fellow slaves, exposed to the burning heat of
day and the freezing cold of night, never paid any wages for your work, while your Muslim masters hang onto your passport and stand guard outside the barbed wire perimeter keeping you enslaved against your will. Wouldn’t you dream of loosening bolts, mixing bad cement, and doing whatever you could every day, in small ways, to ensure the Muslim building projects collapsed under the weight of Islam’s own hubris?

Islam is not an inventor or perfecter of anything.  It is a corruptor, and a user.  Islam was designed to be a conquest engine that militaristically and savagely sweeps into a territory, exploits its people and resources, and maintains control through the rote memorization and implementation of the Koran…itself a sadistic playbook for the conquest and subjugation of others.

Muslims do not create beautiful, fanciful projects out of thin air that rise high into the sky with longterm stability…instead, they just buy architectural plans for massive, dreamlike fancies and then follow the Koran’s lead in creating the nightmarish working conditions that enslave others to build these Muslim whims.

All of this evil is catching up with Dubai…which is literally falling apart at the seams.

 Sonia Gandhi is ethnically non-Indian as she is not a natural Born  citizen of India but a naturalised citizen of this country.· Sonia Gandhi has not studied beyond High School. 

· Ms Sonia Maino married Rajeev Gandhi on February 25, 1968.· It is also a fact that at the time of 1971 war she went to Italy along with her  husband Rajeev Gandhi was Pilot of Indian Airlines at that time.·

 Sonia violated the provision of FERA for over a year (from January 1,1974 to January 21, 1975) when she was allotted shares in Maruti Technical Services PVT. LTD and was made its Managing Director.·

 It is also a fact that after loss of congress in 1977 – Sonia along with her  husband took asylum in the Italian Embassy.

· Under Section 5(C) of India’s Citizenship Act, she became eligible to register herself as a citizen of India on February 25, 1973.

 But, she chose to continue as an Italian citizen. Mrs Sonia Gandhi applied for Indian citizenship on April 7, 1983.

 The application was found to be grossly incomplete – in that it did not have any statement by her affirming that she had renounced her Italian citizenship. Nor was there any official document to this effect.

 On April 27, 1983, the Ambassador for Italy obliged and sent a letter, saying, on her behalf, that she had renounced her Italian citizenship. Such a letter is not enough under India’s laws.

 But since Mrs Indira Gandhi, Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s mother in law, was the Prime Minister, no further inquiries were made and Mrs Sonia Gandhi was granted citizenship on April 30, 1983.·

 Even though she was not a citizen of India, Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s name was smuggled on to the electoral rolls effective January 1, 1980. In 1982, an objection was raised about her being smuggled on to the electoral rolls without being a citizen of India.

 The objection was found valid and her name was struck off the electoral rolls in the later part of 1982. But, once again, affairs were so managed that, even though Mrs Sonia Gandhi had not become a citizen of India till then, her name was once again smuggled back on to the electoral rolls effective January 1, 1983.

 As stated earlier, Mrs Sonia Gandhi had not even applied for citizenship till April 7, 1983, and she was granted citizenship only on April 30, 1983.·

It is also a fact that after few days of Rajeev’s death Sonia captured the office of AICC unlawfully for Rajeev Gandhi Foundation.·

It is also a fact that without holding any eligibility she became Chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru Museum and Library an institute of research in Contemporary Indian History.

· It is also a fact that Sonia Gandhi criminally misappropriated the property of Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, which was property of Government of India with the help of Mr. Madhav Rao Scindia.

· Sonia Gandhi is alleged for using the Christian world to help implement evangelisation-2000 programmes in India.

When mosques are built, imams, mullahs or mosque elders tend to be sent to the U.S. with one clear mission:  Make Islamic religion, laws, and life supreme within the Unite States or any other host country, using any and all tactics necessary. 

 Next, from within the safety of their local mosques, they begin to use their revolting practices and wild sermonizing to force the genteel Americans to relocate to safer, less threatening neighborhoods and cities as is the case in England and other European countries.

We can not have a dual standard in …the US that allows one religion preference over another.

નિર્દોષોનું લોહી રેડવાના પાઠ આ ધર્મગુરૂ ભણાવે છે….

જો આ જ ધર્મ હોય તો અધર્મ કોને કહેવો એ એક કૂટપ્રશ્ન બની રહે

-૨૦૦૯ના નવેંબરમાં અમેરિકી લશ્કરના ફોર્ટ હૂડ મથક ખાતે મેજર (મનોચિકિત્સક) નિદાલ મલિક હસને કોઇ પૂર્વ ઉશ્કેરણી વિના ડઝનબંધ જવાનો પર ગોળીબાર કર્યો હતો એ તમને કદાચ યાદ હશે. ત્યારબાદ એક મહિલા સાર્જંટે એના પર ગોળીબાર કરીને એને ઇજા પહોંચાડીને વઘુ હત્યાઓ કરતો રોક્યો.

– ૨૦૦૯ના ડિસેંબરની ૨૫મીએ નાતાલના  દિવસે નોર્થ વેસ્ટ એરલાઇન્સની અમેરિકા તરફ આવતી ફ્લાઇટને ઉમર ફારૂખ અબ્દુલમુતલ્લબ નામના એક યુવાને ઊડાવી દેવાનો નિષ્ફળ પ્રયત્ન કર્યો. આમ જુઓ તો આ બંને ઘટના વચ્ચે દેખીતો કોઇ સંબંધ નથી. પરંતુ, બીજી રીતે જુઓ તો આ બંને એક જ આતંકવાદી ગુરૂના ચેલા છે.

અમેરિકાએ એ આતંકવાદી ‘ધર્મગુરૂ’ (ભૂતપૂર્વ ઇમામ) અનવર અલ ઔલાકીને પણ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય ગુનેગાર જાહેર કર્યો છે. ૧૯૭૧ના એપ્રિલની ૨૨મીએ મેક્સિકોમાં જન્મેલા ફક્ત ૩૮ વરસના આ ઇમામે ઘણા સરફિરા આતંકવાદીને માત્ર પોતાના પ્રવચનથી આત્મઘાતી બનવાની પ્રેરણા આપી હતી. એક માણસ કેટલું ઝેર પોતાની વાણી દ્વારા ફેલાવી શકે એનો આ વિરલ દાખલો છે. જો આ જ ધર્મ હોય તો અધર્મ કોને કહેવો એ એક કૂટપ્રશ્ન બની રહે.

અમેરિકા અને યૂરોપના દેશો અનવરને ‘બિન લાદેન ઑફ ઇન્ટરનેટ’ તરીકે ઓળખે છે. સિવિલ એંજિનિયરની ડિગ્રી ધરાવતા અનવરનો યમનની ઇમામ યુનિવર્સિટી સાથે સંબંધ છે. આ યુનિવર્સિટીએ એને ઇમામ તરીકેની ડિગ્રી આપી હતી. આ યુનિવર્સિટીના વડા અલ કાયદાના ખેર ખાં ગણાતા અબ્દુલ મજિદ અલ-ઝિન્દાની છે. અમેરિકા પર થયેલા ૯-૧૧ના હુમલાના સૂત્રધારોએ અનવરનાં ‘ધાર્મિક વ્યાખ્યાનો’ સાંભળ્યાં હતાં.

એજ રીતે મેજર નિદાલ મલિક હસને ઇન્ટરનેટ પર અનવરનાં પ્રવચનો સાંભળ્યા હતા. કેટલાક લોકોના અવાજમાં જાદુ હોય છે. આષાઠી કંઠ ધરાવતા કે ખરજનો ઘેરો કંઠ ધરાવતા લોકો ઘણીવાર અનાયાસે સાંભળનારને હિપ્નોટાઇઝ કરે છે. તેમની વાણીમાં સંમોહિત કરવાની શક્તિ રહેલી હોય છે. અનવરની વાણી એવી છે. નોર્થ વેસ્ટ એરલાઇન્સના વિમાનને ૩૦૦ ઉતારૂ સાથે ઊડાવી દેવાની પેરવી કરનારા અબ્દુલમુતલ્લબે પણ અનવરનાં પ્રવચનો સાંભળીને આતંકવાદ અપનાવ્યો હતો.

અમારે ત્યાં ઓસામા બિન લાદેન કે મુંબઇ પરના હુમલામાં સંડોવાયેલા કોઇ આતંકવાદી નથી એવાં બેસૂરાં ગાણાં પાકિસ્તાન ગાય છે એ રીતે યમને અમેરિકાને કહી દીઘું કે અમારે ત્યાં અનવર અલ-ઐાલાકી નામનો કોઇ માણસ નથી. જો કે અવારનવાર અનવર અરબી પ્રેસનેે યમનમાં બેઠાં બેઠાં ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ આપે છે પરંતુ યમન સરકાર કે તેની પોલીસને એ શોઘ્યો જડતો નથી, બોલો ! આ માણસે અમેરિકાની એક કરતાં વઘુ મસ્જિદમાં ઇમામ તરીકેની સેવા આપી હતી અને ભડકામણાં પ્રવચનો કર્યાં હતાં ત્યારે અમેરિકા ગાઢ ઊંઘમાં હતું. જાગ્યું ત્યારે ઔલાકી નૌ દો ગ્યારહ થઇ ગયો હતો. અહીં યાદ રહે કે ઓસામા બિન લાદેન અને લેટેસ્ટ ડેવિડ હેડલી કે તહવ્વુર રાણા એક સમયે અમેરિકી સીઆઇએના પગારદાર નોકર હતા. આજે એ જ સાપ અમેરિકાનું દૂધ પીને અમેરિકાને ડસે છે ત્યારે અમેરિકા એમને પકડીને સજા કરવા તડપે છે. આને કહેવાય વિધિની વક્રતા !

અનવર શરૂમાં કોલોરાડોમાં ફોર્ટ કોલીન્સની અને ત્યારબાદ કેલિફોર્નિયામાં સાન ડિયેગોની મસ્જિદ અર-રિબાત અલ-ઇસ્લામીમાં ઇમામ તરીકે ફરજ બજાવી ચૂક્યો હતો. કેલિફોર્નિયામાં તો ૧૯૯૬ થી ૨૦૦૦ સુધી હતો. ૯૮-૯૯માં ખુદ એફબીઆઇએ જેને ચેરિટેબલ સોસાયટી ફોર સોશ્યલ વેલફેર (સીએસએસડબલ્યૂ)નો ઉપપ્રમુખ ગણાવ્યો હતો. આ સંસ્થા યમનની ઇમામ યુનિવર્સિટીના વડા અબ્દુલ મજિદ અલ-ઝિન્દાનીએ સ્થાપી હતી અને એ વેશ્યાઓના હિત માટે કામ કરે છે.

સમાજ સેવાના અંચળા હેઠળ આ સંસ્થા આતંકવાદી પ્રવૃત્તિ માટે પૈસા ભેગા કરે છે એવું એફબીઆઇના એજન્ટ બ્રાયન મર્ફીએ કોર્ટને જણાવ્યું હતું. ખરી રસપ્રદ વાત તો હવે આવે છે. ૯-૧૧ના બે આતંકવાદી (નવાફ અલ-હાઝમી અને ખાલિદ અલમિંધર)ને એફબીઆઇ સાથે સીધો સંબંધ હતો એમ એક સાક્ષીએ ૨૦૦૦ની સાલમાં કોર્ટમાં કહ્યું હતું. આ બંને પણ ઐાલાકીના શાગિર્દ હતા અને સાન ડિયેગોમાં મસ્જિદ અલ ઐાલાકીમાં નમાજ પઢવા જતા હતા. આ બંને જણ ઔલાકી સાથે બંધ બારણે બેઠકો યોજતા હતા એટલે એમ માની શકાય કે ઔલાકીને ૯-૧૧ હુમલાની આગોતરી જાણ હતી.

છેલ્લે છેલ્લે ઐાલાકીએ વૉશિંગ્ટનમાં દાર-અલ હિજરાહ મસ્જિદના ઇમામ તરીકે સેવા આપી હતી. આ માણસ અલ કાયદાનો મહત્ત્વનો માણસ હતો અને અમેરિકામાં બેઠાં બેઠાં અમેરિકાને ટાપલાં મારતો હતો છતાં દુનિયાની સૌથી કાબેલ જાસૂસી સંસ્થા ધરાવવાનો ફાંકો રાખતા અમેરિકાને એનાં કાળાં કરતૂતોની ખબર નહોતી, બોલો ! આ વિશે વઘુ ફરી ક્યારેક.
